Bacteria: Now you see it, now you don’t!
Seymour Manufacturing International (SMI) has unveiled a new no-nonsense weapon in the war on deadly strains of bacteria – Bio-Gard Clear Strip Curtains.
The company, a world leader in the supply of thermal insulation products for the food and pharmaceutical sectors, is now supplying a range of strip curtains for ambient areas as well as all of its door and thermal curtain windows enriched with Bio-Gard.
Brian Seymour, SMI’s managing director, said: “Most surfaces are secret meeting places for bacteria. Unseen to the human eye, they can multiply at an alarming rate
“Before you know it, these germs are everywhere . . . this is how pandemics spread.”
Bio-Gard has been proven to stop the spread of 99.99% of all germs, and kill them dead. It has been independently tested to several internationally recognised standards JIS Z 2801:2000, ISO 22196:2007, and EU Directive 20002/72EC.
Among the more notorious names on Bio-Gard’s death row are MRSA, E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Legionnaire’s Disease, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Mr Seymour said: “Laboratories have not been prepared to test some of the most highly contagious and deadly strains, but there is little doubt that Bio-Gard would kill Anthrax and Ebola in just the same way.
“The Bio-Gard killing agent lasts for the entire life of the Tempro product, and is a unique and significant breakthrough in the war against illness-causing pathogens.
“Bio-Gard clear curtains are particularly valuable in the food industry, as well as hospitals, manufacturing facilities, bakeries, laboratories, restaurants and cafes, schools, clean room facilities, and military establishments.
“A virus will normally only live for a few hours . . . but bacteria, mould and fungi can survive for years.”
