Expansion continues with another key appointment

World-leading thermal insulation specialist Seymour Manufacturing International (SMI) has expanded its team with the appointment a new National Accounts Manager.

Christopher Kidd brings a wealth of experience in the food industry, including five years at global brand Mars in South Africa, and will be representing the company in the south of England.

He is the third new member of staff to join the SMI team since the start of this year, as part of a campaign to increase sales of its growing product range, both in the UK and overseas.

Christopher said: “I am excited to start a new challenge within SMI and look forward to working with the fantastic team to further develop their already extensive products and services.

“I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself in providing top quality innovative solutions to a wide variety of clientele.”

Christopher’s main focus will be continuing to support SMI’s current accounts, and developing growth in new areas.

SMI chairman and founder Brian Seymour added: “We’re delighted to welcome Christopher, who was the most successful of more than 200 applicants.

“He has excellent experience, knows the industry well and is young with plenty of drive.

“Christopher has the integrity and ethical approach to selling that we look for in all our team, and therefore carries our total confidence and backing. We have now employed three new personnel in 2014, and will continue to expand.”

Mr Seymour added: “Christopher and wife Bronwyn have already been productive since joining the company, as Bronwyn presented Christopher with a beautiful baby girl, Gracie, 14 days after he joined us!”
