Seymour Manufacturing International (SMI) is celebrating after receiving a national industry award. The company has been named Thermal Insulation Supplier Company of the Year by Food and Drink Matters magazine in recognition of its three decades of quality and ground-breaking innovation.
The award comes as SMI prepares to officially launch its latest product – Bus-Stop – at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham. Bus Stop is part of a family of insulated flexible barriers designed to reduce energy loss from the back of a chilled or frozen vehicle. The door curtain system, using SMI’s celebrated Tempro thermal insulation, conserves significant amounts of energy by retaining chill. Bus-Stop’s four movable insulated curtains are fitted on a sliding bar mounted below the truck ceiling, allowing it to be moved from the back, to the front of the truck as required.
The range will be officially launched at the CV Show, at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre, on April 14, where SMI will be officially presented with its Food and Drink Matters award. Food And Drink Matters spokesman Kirsty Quigley said: “Food and Drink Matters carefully selects the finest, most innovative companies in the industry and aims to celebrate their success and share their services with as many people as possible.
“Seymour Manufacturing was awarded the Thermal Insulation Suppliers Company of the Year due to their hard work and dedication to providing the highest quality Tempro® Thermal Insulation Systems. Seymour’s prominence in the industry over the last 30 years has proven their devotion to offering exceptional systems accompanied by outstanding customer service. “The successful, committed team strive to continue to supply these renowned systems to customers both in the UK and overseas. We congratulate Seymour Manufacturing on receiving this prestigious award and wish them every success for the future.”
SMI managing director Brian Seymour said: “We pride ourselves on quality, customer service and innovation, and it is always gratifying when our achievements are recognised by others in the industry.”
