Cold Chain Federation's deputy CEO visits our offices on fact-finding tour

Tom Southall, deputy chief executive of the Cold Chain Federation, visited our Telford headquarters and manufacturing base for a fact-finding talk and tour.

It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our thermal protection perfection product range, and demonstrate the flexibility of our product design and manufacturing capabilities.

He said: “The modern cold chain needs flexibility. Flexibility to respond to the needs of our customers and flexibility to find bespoke solutions for customers products to ensure temperatures are maintained - and sometimes the simplest solutions can be the most effective.

“Seymour Manufacturing International (SMI) provide bespoke thermal protection solutions for every conceivable application from single pallets to refrigerated trailers and mobile cold rooms.

“SMI's commitment to entrepreneurial innovation is perfectly demonstrated by their Cold Chain Federation Sustainability Award nominated Banana Roll Cage Liner - great to see it proudly sporting its nomination!

“It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with the passionate team to hear about the journey and see where their products are handmade here in Telford, which with Cold Chain Live! coming to town in September, is officially the home of cold chain for 2024.”
