Cold-Stop curtains serve up tasty savings for food producer

An award-winning food producer which sells its products across the world is saving energy, money and reducing its carbon footprint with the help of Seymour Manufacturing International (SMI).

Kismet Kebabs was named supplier of the year at the 2021 British Kebab Awards, and supplies not only to the UK but across Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.

It has been working with the thermal insulation specialists at SMI since the start of 2020, and has installed more than 20 sets of Cold-Stop Curtains at its site in Latchingdon, Essex.

Seymour Manufacturing International has been saving energy and money for some of the world’s biggest and best-known businesses since the 1980s.

The company is the inventor of Tempro, which remains unchallenged as the world’s thinnest and most thermally-efficient material of its kind.

Ross Clarke, SMI’s southern sales manager, said: “We’ve been working with Kismet Kebabs for more than 18 months now.

“They are growing rapidly, and we have already been able to help them make some valuable cost and energy savings, reducing their carbon footprint.”

SMI has already installed Cold-Stop Curtains in various areas of the Kismet manufacturing site – with more to come.

The curtains are also featured on the latest Kismet Kebabs promotional video.
